Responsibilities

• Play the role of a tech-lead on various customer-facing interfaces and internal tools (eg. our in-house class management system).

• Drive key technical system architecture decisions in close coordination with the founders/ product designers, solving for scalability and security.

• Build a team of front-end/ back-end developers - mentor, coach and nurture engineering talent in the organization. Requirements

• Minimum experience of 2 years in front-end/ back-end development with a proficiency in Javascript (Our current stack is node.js on back-end and react.js on front-end)

. • Strong preference for candidates who've worked for a consumer-facing product company or social media or EdTech company.

• Experience in defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs.

• Experience with advanced system design concepts such as caching/ queueing using redis.
