Job Description :

As an experienced senior full-stack software developer, you will solve critical problems with a complete end-to-end solution in an agile environment creating enterprise-grade software capabilities supporting the Air Force's Digital Transformation by creating unprecedented data archiving, manipulation, and analysis tools. We are looking for a developer with the rich skills needed to build a cloud-scale, cross domain capability that provides essential functions to support a broad set of DoD technologies and missions.
We need a full-stack developer who can learn new tools and techniques, proactively identify needed system improvements, and guide team members to identify solutions and apply best practices. Using an agile framework, CI/CD, programming in Python, and applying cutting-edge technologies, you will independently design, code and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex innovations. You may develop infrastructure as code to automate container-based scale-out architectures. You will collaborate with product management, other teams, developing innovative solutions that meet the needs with respect to functionality, performance, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles. Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with full stack software design and development. Practical experience is paramount.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
• Skilled in Python, Cloud systems, Django web framework, node.js, vis.js, NoSQL databases, SQL, client-side libraries like jQuery and Bootstrap, and data formats like JSON, XML, HDF5, and Avro.
• Knowledge of computer science, data structures, algorithms, Object Oriented Programing Systems, REST APIs, and API-first design patterns
• This position is working with government related projects and requires U.S. Citizenship
   

Additional Experience Preferred:

• Experience implementing or integrating Software
• Experience working with software developers
• Familiarity or Experience in knowledge visualization, AI/ML applications
• Experience in Kubernetes and Docker based containers
