Job Description

As a member of the software engineering division, you will have a responsibility to contribute to completing software development life cycle tasks associated with understanding the requirements, designing, developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

The tech stack is easy to pick up but experience with the following will help you hit the ground running:

• Deep expertise in React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 and knowledge in TypeScript.
• Understanding of browser internals and a basic understanding of the network stack.
• Understanding of common design patterns followed in front-end projects.
• Basic awareness of application security practices and deployment techniques for front-end projects.
• Should have sound knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structure, and object-oriented programming and possess excellent communication skills.
• Programming in Linux/Unix
• Experience with debugging complex applications
• Experience with creating/consuming RESTful web services

Backend

• Deep experience in NodeJS.
• Good understanding of multiple tech solutions and ability to pick the correct one for the given situation.
• Integration of UI elements with server-side logic/framework.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implementation of security (SSO) and data protection
• Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL.
• Experience in deployment-related skills like Nginx, Docker, uwsgi
• Proficient in versioning systems: Git

The Candidate Should Have

• Solid understanding of software development roles, processes, and procedures in the context of Web and Database development
• Familiarity with Agile software methodology
• Moderately complex problem solving requiring minimal assistance and guidance
• Good communication skills as well as a positive attitude and a drive to lead the team.
• 2-8 Years of experience in building enterprise systems in HTML, JavaScript (OJet), knockout, react, SQL, XML, Web Services, and related technologies.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools/languages are a must.
