Job Description

Your role will consist of the following responsibilities:

• Technical analysis, design, development and deployment of greenfield applications and service projects
• Enhancing and extending existing frameworks and services using a combination of open source packages, in-house development and/or vendor products
• Participating in full delivery lifecycle (e.g. planning, testing phases)
• Liaising with users from all areas and with other IT teams
• Working closely with the Global IT architect and comply with the Global IT Strategy and Architecture Content Framework
• Adhering to development standards and procedures
• Dealing with day-to-day production problems and maintenance when required.

The Successful Applicant

If you have most of the following knowledge and skills, you are the right candidate for this role:

• Proven working experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles and IoC
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Proficient knowledge of at least one back-end language (e.g. Java, C#)
• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, React, Node.js, Electron) and HTML
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. MSSQL, Sybase)
• Experience with MongoDB (NoSQL)
• Experience working with Microservice Architectures
• DevOps minded developer (CI/CD, Version control, TDD, BDD, monitoring)
