Key Responsibilities
 

• Develop backend application, Microservice, and RESTful API
• Implement and support Open Data Platform development in Google Kubernetes Engine
• Provide estimates for the tasks assigned and complete the development within timelines
• Works self-contained and self-motivated to drive the development of highest standard
• To work with users in system design, analysis, development, implementation, acceptance and documentation

Person Specifications
 

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related disciplines with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Proficient in Python, PHP, Java, shell script, and JSON
• Solid experience in using database such as MySQL, Apache Druid is a plus
• Knowledge of backend application development and program design under Linux servers
• Knowledge of RESTful API development, Data Streaming and Enterprise Service Bus
• Knowledge on Networking, Kubernetes, Apache Nifi, Apache Kafka, Apache Druid, WSO2 API Manager, and WSO2 Enterprise Integrator will be an advantage
• Relevant experience in network management system will be an advantage
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools on GIT
• Strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently
• Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese.
