AWS DevOps Engineer, responsible for the development of the AWS modules for our CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service).
Responsible for supporting the system lifecycle & roadmap for the AWS modules for Digital Contact Centre.
Drive adoption of Agile Scrum and DevOps framework.
Has good quality control of development and deployment – good coding policies and frameworks, release management discipline and reusability.
Collaborate with other L3 teams in downstream and upstream platforms for integration works.
Identify and drive areas of improvement e.g pro-active monitoring of System Health of the application.
Review and resolve any operational system bottlenecks.
Ensuring platform security through best use in class cloud security solutions by working closely with Security Team.
Job Description
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT-related qualifications.
2 – 4 years total work experience, with minimum 2 years in AWS cloud native development experience.
Experienced in using broad range of AWS services to develop and maintain AWS based cloud solution & infrastructure, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.
Experience developing code in at least one high-level programming language, preferably GoLang.
Being an AWS Certified Developer and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is an added advantage.
Experienced in system process flow, SDLC, design + documentation, Agile-Scrum delivery methodologies.
Strong acumen in DevOps automation programming languages/scripting.
Have knowledge on security implementation in DevOps CI/CD pipeline.
Ability to diagnose and resolve AWS infrastructure production incidents is an added advantage.
Familiar with various technologies, including but not limited to Redis, Elasticsearch, Rabbitmq, Kubernetes, Docker, Kibana and Terraform.
Good understanding of hardware infrastructure systems (network switches, firewalls, routers, etc) and Linux operating system.
