Job Description :

Responsibilities

• Lead data scientists and complex projects to completion.
• Design, plan, prioritize and be responsible for data projects.
• Develop, evaluate, and deploy new models and techniques.
• Coach and mentor junior data scientists to develop their skills.
• Understand clients’ processes and communicate technical solutions and model results to stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience as a Data Scientist delivering end-to-end data projects
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management Statistics or equivalent industry experience.
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
• Experience in using statistical computer languages (Python, PySpark, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
• A strong passion to identify and solve business problems using data science techniques
• Ability to communicate clearly and work closely with cross-functional teams such as Data Analyst, Data Visualization, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, and businesses functions
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• A good team player
