We are looking for a strong and experienced Data Scientist to join us. Our group focuses on innovative technologies for the Health & Life Sciences industry and builds products involving conversational intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, and diverse algorithmic approaches, delivering products to millions of users around the world.
As part of our Patient Engagement Solutions (PES) team, you’ll be helping modernize the technologies patients use to interact with providers across healthcare organizations. PES combines decades of healthcare expertise with award-winning AI-powered intelligent engagement technology to automate personalized patient interactions — addressing some of the most pressing patient experience, staffing, and financial challenges. You’ll be working on solutions that provide easy access to self-service and live assistance across both voice and digital channels to optimize organizational performance, help control costs, and boost patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Create business value through building robust and performant cloud-based solutions infused with AI for the healthcare domain
Leading end-to-end ML/AI solutions development process, starting from understanding the business problem, through conducting deep yet agile research, and ending with production implementation of machine learning pipelines.
Work closely with Software Engineers, PMs and customers to deliver end-to-end solutions and promote innovative and disruptive technologies for the healthcare industry.
Required Skills
5+ years professional experience in Machine Learning / Deep Learning
Experience with NLP and/or Information Retrieval
Proficiency in Python
Experience with cloud-based solutions/services on public cloud like Azure
Experience in working on large-scale ML-based projects, preferably with multiple data scientists
Experience with healthcare data and systems, Health & Life Sciences domain experience or biomedical knowledge. (Essential)
Track record of delivering models that support complex production systems and applications
Strong written and oral communications skills as well as excellent listening skills.
Methodical, well-organized, thorough and detail oriented.
Team player, positive attitude, collaborative.
Dedicated, hard worker, makes things happen.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Conversational AI / chatbot development, conversational interfaces or IVR/speech systems is an advantage.
Education
MSc or PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent).
