Analyze and organize raw data.
Build scalable data systems and pipelines.
Assemble large and complex datasets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
Identify opportunities for data acquisition.
Develop analytical tools and programs.
Provide technical support and performance tuning on the developed system, such as infrastructure health check, installation and configuration, problem diagnosis and solving, pipeline performance tuning.
Develop a data visualization platform.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics or relevant field.
Proven experience as a data engineer, software developer, or similar.
Strong knowledge of and experience with database management systems (SQL, MongoDB, or other DBMS) and programming (Python, JavaScript).
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical programming packages for analyzing datasets (Pandas, Numpy, etc).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to evaluate advantages and disadvantages on the existing tools and provide software solution recommendations based on functional and non-functional requirements of each project.
Knowledge and experience on distributed computing, cloud security, and cloud computing platforms is a plus.
