What we are looking for

We are looking for a Data engineer who will build scalable modules to auto shrink and expand our data pipelines, work closely with the business on requirements and specifications, translate the requirements into design and build scalable data pipelines for upstream & downstream systems & applications

You would be responsible to

• You will connect the dots and interact with people in various roles and functions.
• You will work to effectively develop data products which serves downstream teams to make measurable metrics and provide meaningful recommendations.
• Build high quality and sustainable data pipelines and ETL processes to extract data from a variety of APIs and relational databases.
• Efficiently draft complex SQL queries and data models to aggregate and transform data for reporting and analytics teams.
• Perform the design and extension of data marts, meta data, and data models.
• Help designing a data lake using the latest technologies and ideologies.
• Help deprecate legacy code and replace it with new architecture.
• Improve our data quality and scalability of our data-reliant systems.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to create value from data.

Skills that you should have

• 3+ years of proven experience as a ETL Developer or similar role.
• Advanced SQL Knowledge and experience working with relational databases.
• Exposure to one or more ETL tools like Talend/ informatica/SSIS.
• Technical knowledge and experience regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
• Proficiency in building data connectors to integrate/ingest the data flow from various traditional data platforms like RDBMS Netezza, Teradata; File systems; ERP systems and different third-party APIs.
