• SSIS and/or ODI - (It’s hard to find people with expertise in both. So, we will look for any one of these.).
• Oracle query performance tuning.
• Development and maintenance of data warehouses.

Qualifications:

• Minimum.
• 3-5 years of experience with SSIS.
• 3-5 years of experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of mixed experience in OSISoft PI – architecture, development, system administration and end use.
• 3-5 years of experience in analyzing data and presenting the results.
• 3-5 years of experience in using relational databases – DML, DDL, DCL and TCL.
• 3-5 years of experience in developing and maintaining ETL jobs.
• 1-3 years of experience with SSRS or Power BI.
• 1-3 years of experience in data quality improvement, especially in developing program to detect data quality issues.
• Understanding of normal form data modeling and dimensional data modeling concepts
• Ability to work independently and to take accountability.
• Ability to be creative.
• Ability to communicate in a concise manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired:

• 3-5 years of experience within any area of Electric Operations in the electric utility industry.
• 3-5 years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements.
• Understand the data in different systems, such as Aveva/OSI PI, data warehouses and various transactional systems.
• Come up with innovative ideas to solve business problems using data
• Fix data issues in the OSI PI system.
• Develop and maintain ETL jobs (SSIS, ODI, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Aveva/OSI PI).
• Develop and maintain analytics.
• Design and implement database server-side schemes, to optimize query performance.
• Develop and maintain BI reports.
• Document all work.
