Job Description :

As a Data Engineer with Cuusoo you will work with other smart, passionate and skilled people to turn visions of what could be into reality using Databricks.

With our diverse range of clients and projects, no day will look the same—but here’s a great snapshot of some of what you could be doing:

• Supporting clients as they implement transformational big data projects, including end-to-end development and deployment of industry-leading big data and AI applications
• Collaborating with teams, both internal and external, working with project owners, sponsors and stakeholders to deliver high quality outcomes to our customers
• Working with the team on the design and deployment of Databricks platforms for any of AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Sharing your knowledge and opinions while remaining respectful of clients and other team members
• Helping to grow Cuusoo’s reputation in the marketplace by delivering high quality consulting services to clients
• Representing Cuusoo within the Databricks community
• Participating in events to raise awareness of Cuusoo’s capability and building relationships with new clients and prospects

If you’re the right Data Engineer for us, you’ll have:

• Familiarity with a range of data engineering approaches, covering theoretical best practices and the technical applications of these methods
• Demonstrable experience creating a CI/CD pipeline and designing a data model
• Proficiency in data languages: SQL and at least one of Python or Scala, or if you have both that’s awesome
• Previous working experience with at least one cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), but it’s great if you have more
• Commercial data experience with exposure to different phases of a data project delivery lifecycle
• A passion for data and real interest in Databricks, even if you haven’t had that hands-on Databricks experience yet

Bonus skills:

• Experience with PySpark and Spark SQL
