Job Description :

ParallelChain Lab (www.parallelchain.io) is looking for data scientists who strive to find and implement effective solutions to constrained problems. Prior experience or knowledge of blockchain systems are not required but interest in financial business is necessary for this position.

We provide training and learning period, and we expect applicants to be fast learners and able to deliver solid results in our business-driven culture independently.

Duties

• Carry out research and data processing projects to support developing blockchain fintech industry application.
• Perform web crawling, data cleaning, writing dataset or database queries.
• Automate data processing workflow and pipelines to support and enhance performance.
• Build deep learning NLP models and workflows to meet business objectives.
• Work with software development team to integrate models into production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering disciplines (e.g. Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience writing web crawlers and SQL (or noSQL) queries from using Python or other languages.
• Projects in biometric recognition, Big Data, Pyspark, NLP, graph theory, anomaly or fraud detection highly desirable.
• Good mastery of Python for data science tasks expected; hands-on familiarity with machine learning tools and frameworks (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, Spark PySpark Docker).
• Prior experience or knowledge of blockchain systems are desired but not essential.
