Job Description :

We are looking for experienced Software Engineer with NodeJS and Serverless experience to be part of the growing Tech team. As a Software Engineer, you’ll be given opportunities to involve in conception to completion of a product.

In this role, you’ll leverage your excellent communication and collaboration skills and to be

open and generous with sharing your knowledge and experience in contributing to the Team.

You’ll be participating in a full-stack Squad-based team comprises of Backend, Frontend, and QA. Often, you’ll be tasked to solve complex engineering challenges to help the team in

delivering excellent Products to the users.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for development of highly available, scalable, and efficient backend system to support Esyms platform services.
• Write clean code and reusable components/libraries.
• Implement Serverless computing best practices.
• Build new features and refactor the existing ones.
• Solve Data Structure and Algorithm problems within backend modules.
• Oversee product development from conceptual through deployment.
• Work and collaborate with the rest of the Engineering team.
• Develop a well-structured code base that is maintainable.
• Keep abreast with AWS-related services and Software Engineering best practices.

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years in backend or full-stack development.
• Candidates must have proven experience in developing on NodeJS, JavaScript/Typescript.
• Experience with AWS Serverless stack, using services like Cognito, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, AppSync, SQS, SNS, and many more.
• Experience with Serverless Framework or AWS SAM or CloudFormation deployment.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting serverless applications and AWS services issues.
• Experience with unit testing using Mocha/Chai/Jest.
• Experienced in distributed version control (i.e. git) in a collaborative team settings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledgeable in web services and application security i.e. OWASP is a plus
• CICD experience with CodePipeline or similar tools is a plus.
• Good collaborative attitude.
• Attention to detail.
• Independent and work with minimum supervision.
