HZI acts as an engineering, procurement and construction contractor and project developer, delivering complete turnkey plants and system solutions for thermal and biological EfW recovery. HZI’s Service Group combines its own research and development with comprehensive manufacturing and erection capabilities to support our clients throughout the entire life cycle of their plant.

Your Responsibilities

HZI for its engineering & construction activities relies on a portfolio of business tools and data bases, which is a combination of market products and in-house developments.

• Main purpose of this function is to develop and maintain new business tools that cover the companies needs to stay competitive
• Maintenance and improvement of existing in-house tools
• Taking specifications from business users and turning them into simple applications
• Working with existing applications and develop new features for the company activities worldwide
• Provide documentation, ensure communication and training on developed apps

Your Experiences

• Degree in Computer Sciences / software engineering with 5+ years of experience as Software developer
• Knowledge and experience in the field of web application development
• Relevant Knowledge: Python (Flask, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks), Javascript (React), SQL, C#/.NET, Xamarin, Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft SQL Server and Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of tools: VSCode, Git and mobile application development
• Fluency in English, Italian and / or German are a plus
• Strong solution and customer orientation while working in matrix structures
• Interest in processes, product knowledge and technicial understanding of the operations of EfW plants
