Job Description :

In this roll you will:
 

• Support system requirements definition and analysis.
• Support system design and/or analysis functions based on requirements.
• Participation in customer reviews (e.g., design, integration readiness, etc.).
• Prepare and/or review system design documentation in accordance with defined standards.
• Prepare and/or review system-level test plans and procedures in accordance with defined standards.
• Provide information to Software Engineers implementing the system design.
• Identify and report on of defects discovered.
• Investigateion, resolveution, and verifyication of assigned defects.
• Coordinate execution of test events on the Avionics Systems Integration Lab (ASIL).
• Present verbal and written presentations to ISS and internal management and customers.
• Other duties as assigned by the Systems Engineering Lead and/or ISS Leads.

What you bring to the table:
 

• Minimum 2 years experience in system/test engineering
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or applicable scientific discipline
• Exposure to requirement analysis, system design, integration, and test processes and methodologies
• Knowledge of system engineering fundamentals
• Knowledge of system and qualification test fundamentals
• Knowledge and use of a requirements management tool (e.g., DOORS)
• Knowledge and use of a problem reporting tool (e.g. ClearQuest)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
