Support system requirements definition and analysis.
Support system design and/or analysis functions based on requirements.
Participation in customer reviews (e.g., design, integration readiness, etc.).
Prepare and/or review system design documentation in accordance with defined standards.
Prepare and/or review system-level test plans and procedures in accordance with defined standards.
Provide information to Software Engineers implementing the system design.
Identify and report on of defects discovered.
Investigateion, resolveution, and verifyication of assigned defects.
Coordinate execution of test events on the Avionics Systems Integration Lab (ASIL).
Present verbal and written presentations to ISS and internal management and customers.
Other duties as assigned by the Systems Engineering Lead and/or ISS Leads.
What you bring to the table:
Minimum 2 years experience in system/test engineering
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or applicable scientific discipline
Exposure to requirement analysis, system design, integration, and test processes and methodologies
Knowledge of system engineering fundamentals
Knowledge of system and qualification test fundamentals
Knowledge and use of a requirements management tool (e.g., DOORS)
Knowledge and use of a problem reporting tool (e.g. ClearQuest)
Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
