Application Support Specialist for a local leading automotive company

Your new role
 

• Perform application systems support and maintenance, including routine job processes, system integration and UAT testing, system administrations and configurations
• program coding for self-developed applications
• Support and troubleshot the technical issues and incidents of application systems
• ensure the incidents and issues are resolved in a timely manner to minimize impacts to business operations
• Prepare and maintain technical documents and operation manuals for support service details and troubleshooting steps
• Work with project teams and external vendors to support project implementation and application enhancements delivery
• Assist to standardise application support workflows and problem resolution processes in accordance with ITSM defined processes
• Perform application systems upgrade and regular maintenance at non-office hour and/or weekends when necessary

What you'll need to succeed
 

• University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
• Preferably with 2-3 years working experience in IT application development and maintenance
• Hands-on experience in cloud-based Web/Mobile application development and maintenance is an advantage
• Hands-on experience in .NET programming languages / Framework (including C#, VB, ASP .NET and Struts) and Java.
• Good knowledge with MS Visual Studio, IIS, Azure, Power Platform, Apache and SQL would be an advantage
• Good interpersonal, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Cantonese
• Self-motivated, mission-oriented, and be able to work independently
