Job Scopes
Analyze and understand requirements and user to identify required test scenarios, test cases and test data, ensure complete test coverage
Able to analyze applications based on the current behavior of the application where documentation or feature requirements does not exist
Execute quality assurance test scenarios/test cases. Ensure developed functionality satisfies the requirements and aligns with business specifications
Find issues through systematic and/or adhoc testing, troubleshooting. Provide detailed defect reports and effectively communicate status of issues and its risks in a precise and timely manner
Teamwork to enhance product and fix all reported issues
Understand problems from customer’s perspective and able recommend improvements to enhance user experience
Ensure the quality of the product under test to prevent issues from reaching customers, and make an effort to improve the quality and efficiency of testing through process enhancement
Thorough understanding of the defect life-cycle process and industry standard defect tracking tools
Able to work independently on projects
Actively participate in daily stand-ups and retrospective meeting
Ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by immediate supervisor
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Process (SDLC) and QA methodology
Knowledge and experience in analyzing Software Requirement Specification and identifying the required test scenarios
1 to 2 years’ experience on software testing will be an advantage.
Experience work with auto test framework – Selenium, Knowledge of Programming scripting language such as C Sharp, ASP.net, Java, HTML, SQL, etc.
