Arab Bank Australia Limited is offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Credit Analyst to manage and grow a consumer portfolio. This will be a permanent role based in Bankstown, NSW.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing Credit submissions for the Relationship Manager’s approval
Liaising with the Credit Department regarding the progress of loan applications
Preparing and reviewing all lending documentation as well as ensuring pre and post approval conditions are met
Conducting reviews and recommending restructures and/or extensions to existing credit facilities
Preparing management reports for the Relationship Manager assisting with daily management of the business relationship between the Bank and a defined group of existing customers
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
In order to be successful in this role, you will have at least two (2) years’ work experience as a Credit Analyst or similar titled role in a banking or brokerage capacity
Ability to prepare credit submissions to present to the credit team for approval
A proven ability to analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow statements and budgets
An understanding of legislation & codes of conduct pertaining to lending, including the National Consumer Credit Code, Privacy Act, Cheques & payment Act, AUSTRAC and Fair Trading Practices Act
Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal and negotiation skills
