    Your New Opportunity

    The Sydney office is currently seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join the team as an Analyst. The Analyst will play an active role in supporting the team in the review of financial models for broad range of infrastructure projects and project finance transactions. You will initially learn our methodologies and quality control procedures.

    Key Responsibilities Will Include

    • Assist in the delivery of the financial model reviews for a wide range of engagements. This will include running our analysis tools; cell by cell review of models; preparation of queries and reports for the client; testing of sensitivities; and appraisal of the accounting & tax compliance of the models assumptions and calculations.
    • Detailed review of the project and financing documentation and ensuring that the financial model complies with the associated documentation.
    • Depending on your experience, there may be potential for candidates with modelling and VBA experience to get involved with the development of bespoke/custom financial models for a variety of corporate clients.
    • Provide support to the team as required.
    • Participate in team, firm, client, and adviser meetings as required.
    • Support business development opportunities such as assistance with the preparation of proposals.
    • Attend & participate in internal and external technical and advisory training.

    What You'll Bring

    • In progress or recently completed CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent
    • Experience in a professional services firm in the review/build of financial models (preferred)
    • Strong interest in the accounting and tax implications of complex infrastructure projects
    • Strong interest in financial modelling, infrastructure, project finance and corporate finance
    • Excellent attention to detail yet ability to see the big picture, provide appropriate recommendations and suggestions to refine the model
    • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of staff and stakeholders
    • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional client service and utilising your unique skills
