    As a member of the data science team, you will work with diverse and highly collaborative teams of product managers, engineers, and other data analysts to drive product impact. You will have the opportunity to define metrics and identify opportunities from one of the richest data sets in the world, and convert the insights into real changes, for both new initiatives and scaled products. You are a self starter who is excited about data, excels in product logic thinking, clear communication, and brings distinctive problem solving skills and impeccable business judgment.

    As a Data Science Manager, you will know how to connect the dots and interact with people in various functions, identify T&S challenges, propose solutions, and drive sustainable product impact. The ideal candidate will have a background in Data Science and T&S leadership, strong technical skills and expertise working with loosely defined tasks.

    About This Role:
    We are looking for a leader, who has strong analytical skills and is able both to lead others and deal with analytical tasks to solve complex and loosely defined problems, communicate with stakeholders and provide support to the team. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL knowledge, leadership, communication and collaboration skills, be a self-starter, oriented on results, able to ask the right questions and get answers, understand the business needs and processes.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Lead a team of at least 10 data scientists, including 2 Data Science managers: define goals, provide guidance and feedback, support career growth
    - Understand problem space, product and related business processes, build a vision on how to improve such processes
    - Partner with XFN teams, including Policy, Ops, Algo, Product Strategy and Engineering and other to solve Trust & Safety challenges
    - Apply your expertise in analysis, data mining, visualization to provide business insights and recommendations on product/processes improvements
    - Conduct research and analysis on various business processes to identify business problems, and further provide optimisation suggestions to improve operating efficiency.

    Qualifications

    Key Requirements:
    - At least 5 years experience in data science, business or product analytics. Trust & Safety experience is a plus
    - Minimum 3 years experience in leading data science or analytics teams in a formal or informal capacity
    Demonstrated leadership and self-direction. Willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques
    - Ability to conduct rigorous analysis and communicate conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences
    - Experience in business analysis, and/or product analysis teams in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment
    - Proven ability to succeed in an innovative and fast-paced environment
    - Solid communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with internal
    - Proficiency in SQL. Python skills are a plus
    - Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in data analytics related fields.
