UPSC CDS Elementary Mathematics Exam

The Elementary Mathematics examination in CDS is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The exam is aimed to evaluate the numerical capabilities and basic mathematical concepts that a candidate should know in competitive exams. This exam has 120 questions of objective type with a duration of 2 hours, and the total marks allotted are 100.

This is a critical paper for all candidates who would like to score well in the CDS exam. Topics from which questions are raised involve—arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, mensuration, and statistics. The difficulty level for this test is medium with focus on concepts, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities rather than just calculations.
