Job Description :

Key Accountabilities

1. Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

2. Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies to ensure quality deliverables.

3. Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.

4. Improve models and algorithms to be applied to datasets to further optimize business outcomes.

5. Apply predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes in order to forecast future outcomes of the company.

6. Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy in order to increase business efficiency, improve decision-making process and mitigate any risks along the way.

7. Analyze and deliver best practices of techniques, processes, and design around data science principles to come up with imaginative solutions to problems.

8. Act as a subject matter expert for a data-driven design methodology, contributing to cross-functional teams including software architects, account managers and other software engineers to develop an understanding of evolving/agile business needs.

9. Play a role of a strong communicator of design rationale and project progress and proactive contributor to ongoing improvements and enhancements of PLUS methodologies to ensure successful execution of projects.

10. Engage with the vendors and cross Departments such as Research and Development to produce enhanced and efficient predictive data model for current and future technology products.

Qualification

Graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science or Software / System Engineering / Engineering Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering & Economics or equivalent.

Desired experience/exposure

1. At least 3 years’ experience working in a data science/machine learning project preferably in a corporate environment or commercial organization.
2. Experience in querying databases and using statistical computer languages: Python, SQL, etc. is an added advantage.
