Program Curriculum
The Doctorate in Computer Science program is structured across three distinct phases, each building directly on what came before.
The Coursework Phase comes first — foundational modules in research methodology, quantitative and qualitative techniques, and academic writing. This is where you identify your dissertation topic and are assigned a dedicated supervisor. Multiple seminars and academic presentations during this phase prepare you fully for the independent research ahead.
The Research Lab Phase moves you into in-depth data collection, analysis, and critical evaluation aligned with your chosen research topic. You submit a detailed synopsis, progress reports every six months, and participate in workshops and research colloquiums that sharpen your research direction and thinking.
The Doctoral Thesis Phase is where everything comes together — thesis development, committee reviews, feedback integration, a pre-submission defence, and a final viva voce. Candidates who successfully defend their work are awarded the doctorate.

Eligibility Criteria
A recognised master's degree or EQF Level 7 qualification in Computer Science or a related field with a GPA of 4.0 or 70% and above
Candidates with five or more years of relevant professional experience are also considered
IELTS Overall 5.5 or equivalent — waivers available for applicants who completed prior education in English
No GMAT or GRE required — admission is based on academic background, professional experience, and research proposal
Transfer of up to nine doctoral credits accepted into the program
Applications accepted online only with no residency requirement
