Job Description :

West Bengal Public Service Commission, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Assistant Director of Textiles for the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Textiles, Government of West Bengal.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Assistant Director: 02 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Textile Technology/ Handloom Technology from a recognized University/Institute;
And
Candidates must have 5 years’ practical experience in a responsible position in a Government Department/ Undertaking/ reputed commercial concern dealing with Textile Industry;
And
Candidates must have knowledge of Bengali— spoken and written.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-01-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Screening Test followed by the Interview.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 16

Application Fee: Rs.210/-
SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates of West Bengal are exempted from paying Application fees.
