UPPCB Recruitment 2026: 40 Environmental Engineer, Scientific Officer Vacancies

The Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Assistant Environmental Engineer, and Assistant Scientific Officer Posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

Assistant Environmental Engineer Posts: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Civil Engineering/ Environmental Engineering from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

Assistant Scientific Officer Posts: Candidates must possess a Doctorate in Chemistry/ Zoology/ Botany/ Biochemistry from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto with three years of experience in the field of Environment/ Pollution Control/ Public Health,
OR
A Master's Degree in Chemistry/ Zoology/ Botany/ Biochemistry from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto with five year of experience in the field of Environment/ Pollution Control/ Public Health.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-07-25. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by the interview.

Pay Scale: Pay-Matrix Level-10

Application Fee: Rs. 2000 for Unreserved and OBC categories candidates.
Rs. 1000/- for SC/ ST categories candidates.
Persons with Disabilities are exempted from payment of the application fee.
