Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Sub-Inspector, and Assistant Sub Inspector positions.

Eligibility Criteria:

Sub Inspector Posts: The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream OR Equivalent Eligibility From Any Recognised University/ Board/ Institutions in India With O Level Exam Passed, And Typing (English: 35 WPM, Hindi: 25 WPM & Stenographer Hindi: 80 WPM).

Assistant Sub Inspector Posts: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream OR Equivalent Eligibility From Any Recognised University/ Board/ Institutions in India With O Level Exam Passed, And Typing (English: 35 WPM, Hindi: 25 WPM).

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years as on 01-07-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), Document Verification, followed by the Medical Examination.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 06 for Sub-Inspector of Police Group-C
Pay Level 05 for Assistant Sub Inspector of Police Group-C

Application fees: Rs.500/- for General/ EWS/ OBC category candidates.
Rs.400/- for SC/ ST category candidates.
