Eligibility Criteria: For direct recruitment to the post of Health Worker (Female), the candidate must have the following qualifications:

The candidate must have the educational qualifications prescribed from time to time by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and must have successfully completed the Basic Health Worker (Female) Training Course (which includes 06 months obstetric training).

The candidate must be duly registered with the Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council.

Preferential Qualifications: Other things being equal, preference in the case of direct recruitment will be given to such candidate who: - (a) has served in the Territorial Army for at least two years,
or
(b) has obtained 'B' certificate of the National Cadet Corps.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 42 years as on 01-07-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: The Board will prepare the list of candidates district wise on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained by them in Basic Health Worker (Female) Training Course in batch wise seniority order.

Pay Scale: Pay Level of 03

Application Fee: Rs.300 for General/ OBC category candidates
Rs.150 for SC/ ST/ EWS category candidates
