Job Description :

Teacher's Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) invites online applications from eligible candidates who have permanent residence in Tripura for selection to the following posts under the Elementary Education Directorate, Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura. All posts are Permanent and the period of probation is 2 years.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies: 1566 Vacancies

Under Graduate Teacher: 1099 Vacancies
Graduate Teacher: 467 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

Under-Graduate Teacher (for Classes I-V):
Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education [or 1-year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05].
OR
Senior Secondary [or it's equivalent] with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 [or one-year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05]
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education [B.El. Ed.].
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1 year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05).
AND
passed Tripura-Teachers' Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper-l and obtained a certificate issued by TRBT.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok
permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) would be required while applying for jobs by direct recruitment under the State Government, Corporations, Boards, PSUs, etc.
Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH category.

Graduate Teacher (for Classes VI-VIII):
Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, (or 1 year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05)
OR
At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years of Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A./ B. Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed/ B. Sc. Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B Ed.) (Special Education).
OR
post-graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and a year integrated B.Ed.- M.Ed.
AND
passed Tripura-Teacher's Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper-II and obtained a certificate issued by TRBT.

TRBT Selection Test for Physical Education Teacher (STPET) - 2024

Teacher's Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) invites online applications from eligible candidates who have permanent residence in Tripura for recruitment to the post of "Physical Education Teacher" through "selection Test for Physical Education Teacher (STPET) - 2024" under Secondary Education Directorate, Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura. All posts are permanent and period of probation is 2-years.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Physical Education Teacher: 125 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) Or Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) Or Bachelor of Science (B.SC) in health and physical Education and a Degree in Sports with at least 55% as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Norms, and procedure) Regulations, 2009.
OR
At least 50% Marks in the B.P.Ed Degree/ B.P.Ed (integrated) four years professional Degrees in Accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2OO7 Notified on 1Oth December,2OO7.
OR
B.P.Ed. with at least 55% marks or B.P.E course (or its equivalent) three years duration with at least 50% marks in accordance with the National council for Teacher Education (a form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programs and permission to stat new course or training) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11 .2002.
AND
Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) of at least two years duration from any National council for Teacher Education
Recognized institution.
Desirable: Having Knowledge of Bengali or kokborok.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the "Selection Test for Physical Education Teacher (STPET) -2024" subject to the scrutiny of certificates/ documents/ Mark Sheets and correctness of the information given by the candidates in the online application form. Minimum 50% marks (75 out of 150) are to be obtained in the test.
