Tripura Public Service Commission, Agartala, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Food Safety Officer under the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Tripura.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Food Technology or Diary Technology or Bio-Technology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or a Master's Degree in Chemistry or BUMS/BSMS/MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS from a recognized university.

Age Limit: Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years as of 18-09-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: The candidate will be selected based on a written examination of 85 marks, and an interview/ personality test of 15 marks.

Pay Scale: Pay Band-3 of Rs. 10,230 - 34,800/- in Level 13

Application Fee: Rs. 350 for general candidates, and Rs.250 for ST/SC/BPL card holders/ Physically Handicapped candidates.
