  Job Description :

  The Staff Selection Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Stenographer in Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations including their Attached offices, Subordinate offices and Statutory bodies of the Government of India located in various States and Union Territories.

  Last Date of Online Application: 26-06-2025
  Last Date for Online Fee Payment: 27-06-2025
  Schedule of Computer Based Examination: 06-08-2025 to 06-08-2025

  Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

  Stenographer: 261 Vacancies

  Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed 10+2 Intermediate Exam in any recognized Board in India.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years as on 01-08-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Scheme of Examination: The candidates will be selected on the basis of Skill Test. Those candidates qualify the Skill Test will be considered for final selection on the basis of their merit in the Computer Based Examination. 

  Application fee: Rs.100/-
  SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen/ Female candidates are exempted from payment of any application fees.
  Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
