Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2026: 73 Court Secretary Vacancies

High Court of Karnataka, Bengaluru invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Assistant Court Secretary under Residual Parent Cadre on the Establishment of the High Court of Karnataka.

Assistant Court Secretary: 73 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in Science/ Arts/ Commerce/ Business Management/ Computer Applications/ Business Administration of recognized University or any other examination recognized as equivalent examination to them by Universities.
AND
Senior Grade or Proficiency Grade Examination in English Shorthand AND Senior Grade Typing Examination in English conducted by Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board or any other recognized Board.
OR
Diploma in Commercial Practice/ Secretarial Practice in English conducted by the Board of Technical Examinations (Department of Technical Education) or any other recognized Board.
AND
Candidates must have knowledge of operation of Computers. 

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 30-07-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Shorthand Test 100 marks followed by the 20 marks of Interview.

Pay Scale: Pay Level of 07

Application Fee: Rs.500 for General Merit/ Cat-II(A)/ II(B)/ III(A)/ III(B) of Other Backward Classes candidates
Rs.250 for SC/ ST/ Category – I of Other Backward Classes/ Persons with Benchmark Disability category candidates
