  Delhi Police and the Staff Selection Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the Competitive Examination for the recruitment of Head Constable (Ministerial) in the Delhi Police.

  Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies Advertised:

  Head Constable (Ministerial): 509 Vacancies

  Head Constable (Ministerial)-Male: 341 Vacancies
  Head Constable (Ministerial)-Female: 168 Vacancies

  Important Dates:
  Commencement of Online Application: 29-09-2025
  Last Date of Online Application: 20-10-2025
  Last Date and Time for making Online Fee Payment: 21-10-2025
  Tentative Schedule of Computer-Based Exam: December - January, 2026

  Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board.

  Candidates must have Speed in English Typing - 30 words per minute.
  OR
  Speed in Hindi Typing - 25 words per minute.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as of 01-07-2025. Candidates born not before 02-07-2000 and not later than 01-07-2007 are eligible to apply. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Endurance and Measurement Test, Typing Test on Computer and Computer (Formatting) Test.

  Pay Scale: Pay Level -4 (Rs. 25500 - 81100)

  Application Fee: Rs. 100/-
  SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Women candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
  Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.

  candidates must possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 27 years as of 01-07-2025. Candidates born not before 02-07-1998 and not later than 01-07-2007 are eligible to apply. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Endurance and Measurement Test, Trade Test and Proficiency in Computer Operation, Police verification of character & antecedents and Medical Examination of finally selected candidates.

  Pay Scale: Pay Level -4 (Rs. 25500-81100)

  Application Fee: Rs. 100/-
