Job Description :

Sikkim State Pollution Control Board invites applications from eligible candidates having Sikkim Subject certificate/ Certificate of Identification issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim for appointment in the following posts on a contract basis in the State Pollution Control Board-Sikkim under Forest and Environment Department, Government of Sikkim.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies Advertised: 79 Vacancies

Junior Scientific Assistant: 17 Vacancies
Field Assistant: 62 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

Junior Scientific Assistant Posts: Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Science (Environmental Science/ Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Zoology.

Field Assistant Posts: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognized University.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the interview to be conducted by an Interview committee.

Pay Scale: Rs.26,000/- for Junior Scientific Assistant post
Rs.22,000/- for Field Assistant post
