Sashastra Seema Bal invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Constables (Tradesmen i.e. Tailor, Cobbler, Cook, Barber, Washerman, Safaiwala, Gardener, Water Carrier, Waiter and Helper) and CT (Orderlies) of SSB year-2026 of Constable (General Duty) through remusteration.

Important Dates:

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or institute.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years as on 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of III Stages selection process:

Stage-I: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) [Candidates who qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will have to undergo Physical Standard Test (PST).]
Stage-II: Written Examination [Candidates declared qualified in Physical Standard Test (PST) will have to appear in written examination.]
Stage-III: Documentation and Skill Test [After completion of written examination, a call list of candidates will be prepared, to put through the documentation process prior to appear in skill test.]

Candidates declared qualified in PET, PST, Written Examination, Documentation and Skill Test will be called for Detailed Medical Examination.

Important Dates:

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.
