  Job Description :

  Punjab & Sind Bank invites online applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of Apprentices, under the Apprentices Act, of 1961.

  Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies: Apprentices 100 Vacancies

  Delhi: 30 Vacancies
  Punjab: 70 Vacancies

  Important Dates:
  Commencement of Online Application: 16-10-2024
  Last Date of Online Application: 31-10-2024

  Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from the recognized University/ Institutes or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government.

  The apprentice should be proficient in the local language (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) of the State/ UT. The apprentice should produce an 8th/10th/12th or graduate-level standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing one of the languages as the local language.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 20 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years as on 01-01-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a merit list that will be drawn State-wise, district-wise, and category-wise. Candidates that qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria will be placed according to their 10+2 marks in descending order in respective Category, State, and District.

  Period of Training: 12 Months

  Stipend: 9,000/- per month

  Application Fee:
  Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD categories candidates, and Rs.200/- for General/ EWS/ OBC categories candidates.
