Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), a Power Generating and Distribution company owned by the Government of Punjab, which has played a key role in the implementation of the Punjab Government plans for 24*7 uninterrupted quality power supply in the State of Punjab, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Engineer/Electrical.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a full time regular 3/4 years Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an institute recognized by State/Central Government with minimum of 60% marks.
OR
B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc Engineering in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks.
OR
AMIE in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with at least 50% marks from Institution of Engineers (India) Calcutta.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 37 years as on 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Online Examination. The question paper will consist of 100 objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQ). All the multiple-choice questions will carry one mark for each correct answer and there will be negative marking for a wrong answer 0.25 (1/4th) of the marks allotted for a correct answer.

The merit list of candidates shall be prepared on the basis of marks scored in online exam after normalization (if applicable) and only those candidates shall be considered in merit list, who scores minimum qualifying marks in online exam.

On the basis of result/merit list, candidates who qualify in online examination shall be called for document checking.

Scale of Pay: 35,400 per month

Application Fee: Rs.1416/- for Unreserved category candidates.
Rs.885/- for SC/ PwBD categories candidates.
