Job Description :

POWERGRID, one of the largest Transmission Utilities in the World and a Maharatna Enterprise of Government of India is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete Inter-State Transmission System. POWERGRID operates around 1,78,975 circuit kms of transmission lines along with 280 Sub-stations (as on 30th November 2024) and wheels about 50% of total power generated in the country through its transmission network.

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), invites online applications from eligible candidates for the Engagement of experienced Field Supervisors (Safety) on a Fixed Tenure Basis.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have completed full-time Diploma in Engineering in Electrical/ Electrical(Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical)/ Civil/ Mechanical/ Fire Technology and Safety from a recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 55% marks.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 29 years as of 25-03-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Screening Test. The Final merit will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in the Screening Test.

Remuneration: Rs.23,000 - 1,05,000/- per month

Application Fee: Rs. 300/-
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-SM are exempted from the payment of the Application Fee.
