  The Odisha Public Service Commission invites online applications for the Odisha Civil Services Examination-2025.

  Commencement of Online Applications: 20-01-2026

  Tentative Date of Preliminary Examination of OCS-2025: 07-06-2026

  Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or a State Legislature in India or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or deemed to be a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 42 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) for the selection of candidates for Main Examination.
  There shall be negative marking for wrong answers. One-third (0.33) of the marks assigned to a question shall be deducted as penalty.
  Main Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the various services and posts.

  Scale of Pay: Pay Level 12 for Group-A
  Pay Level 10 for Group-B

  Place of Examination: Both Preliminary and Main Examination will be held at Six Zonal Centres of the State, viz: Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jeypore and Sambalpur depending on the number of candidates from the respective zones.

  Examination Fee: Rs.700/-
  SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee.
  Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
