NTPC Limited invites online application from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Assistant Law Officers through CLAT-2026.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Assistant Law Officers: 06 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent – full time degree from recognized Indian university/ institute) with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/PwBD candidates).

Candidates must have appeared for CLAT-2026 (Common Law Admission Test-2026) Post Graduate programme (conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities). Candidates shall be shortlisted for further selection process so decided by NTPC, based on CLAT-2026 Post Graduate programme performance scores, from amongst the candidates who apply against this advertisement.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years as on 16-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will have to appear for CLAT-2026. Shortlisted candidates will be selected on the basis of written/ computer-based test, followed by the personal interview.

Pay Scale: Rs.30,000 - 1,20,000/-

Application Fee: Rs.500/- Gen/ OBC/ EWS categories candidates
Candidates belonging to the ST/ SC/ PWD/ XSM category and Female applicants are exempted from payment of any application fees.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
