  Job Description :

  Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), a leading nuclear power generation company invites online applications from the eligible candidates for the Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) Operator and Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) Maintainer posts.

  • The specific vacancies are further divided based on disciplines like Electrician, Fitter, Instrumentation, Electronics, Turner, Welder.

  Age Limit

  • Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on  September 11, 2024.
  • Age relaxations are provided for various categories like SC/ST, OBC, PwD, ex-servicemen, etc. as per government rules.

   

  Eligibility Criteria

  • Operator: HSC (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Maintainer: SSC (10th) with a minimum of 50% marks in Science and Mathematics and a 2-year ITI certificate in a relevant trade.
  • English as a subject at least at the secondary school certificate (SSC) level for both positions.

   

  Selection Process: The selection process typically involves a written examination, followed by a skill test or interview, and a medical examination. 

  Pay Scale and Benefits

  • Stipend during training: ₹20,000 per month for the first year and ₹22,000 per month for the second year.
  • Post-training: Trainees will be considered for appointment as Technicians/B with a starting salary of ₹21,700 in Level 3 of the Pay Matrix.

   

  Application Fee: General, EWS, and OBC candidates are required to pay application fee of ₹100. However, SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, DODPKIA, Female candidates, and employees of NPCIL are exempt from application fee.
