The Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Tabla Player and String Instruments Player posts.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate Must pass the 12+2 examination or its equivalent examination and Typing proficiency in English/ Hindi on the computer is essential.

Candidate should possess a degree/ diploma/ certificate in the Tabla or String from a recognized institute for tabla and string instrument players posts.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years as of 01-01-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: The candidate will be selected based on the following assessment:
Written Exam of 50 Marks and Assessment of Talent in the relevant field based on Practical Test of 35 Marks and Testimonial/ Prizes of 15 marks.

Probation Period: 2 Years

Pay Scale: 
Tabla Player: Level 12 in Pay Matrix
String Instruments Player: Level 12 in Pay Matrix

Application Fee: Rs. 500 for General/ OBC and Rs. 250 for SC/ST, Women candidates.
