National Institute of Technology Patna (NIT Patna) is an Institute of National Importance under the aegis of the Ministry of Education- Government of India.

National Institute of Technology Patna invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Non-faculty positions in the various departments.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 27 years for Technician, 30 years for Superintendent, Technical Assistant, 35 years for Assistant Librarian, Assistant Registrar, and 45 years for Junior Assistant Posts as on 24-03-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Screening test, trade test/ skill test, Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and descriptive/ short answer test etc.

Pay Scale: Rs.15,600 - 39,100 for Assistant Registrar, and Assistant Librarian Posts
Rs.5,200 - 20,200 for Technician, Junior Assistant Posts
Rs.9,300 - 34,800 for Technical Assistant, and Superintendent Posts

Application Fee: Rs.800/-
PwD category candidates is exempted from the payment of Fee.
