NARL is equipped with a suite of most sophisticated instruments including high power RADARs & LIDARs, observational networks and high performance computing system and offers unique opportunity to conduct research of contemporary interest including weather and climate.

Eligibility Criteria:

Scientist/ Engineer ‘SD’ Posts: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Meteorology/ Earth Science/ Environmental Science or Equivalent from a recognized university/ institutions.
And
M.Sc. or MS in Physical Sciences/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Meteorology/ Earth Science/ Environmental Science in First class with an aggregate.

Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ Posts: Candidates must possess M.E/ M. Tech Degree in RF, Microwave, and Communication System Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/CPI from a recognized university/ institutions.
And
B.E/ B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA/CPI from a recognized university/ institutions.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years as on 27-04-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Personal Interview.

Pay Scale: Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500 for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ posts
Rs.67,700 – 2,08,700 for Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ posts
