West Bengal Municipal Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Sub-Assistant Engineer posts under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation in reference of approval by Government of West Bengal and conveyed through Department of Urban Development & Municipal Affairs.

Sub-Assistant Engineer: 97 Vacancies

Civil: 78 Vacancies
Electrical: 19 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have a Diploma Certificate in relevant engineering discipline for Engineering Education or & its Technical equivalent.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 37 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test of 200 marks followed by the Personality Test of 40 marks. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and Personality test.

The Personality test will be held at the Commission's office in Kolkata.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 12

Application Fee: Rs. 200/- for UR/ EWS/ OBC category candidates
Rs. 50/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
