West Bengal Municipal Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil) posts under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation in reference of approval by the Government of West Bengal and conveyed through the Department of Urban Development & Municipal Affairs.

Assistant Engineer: 82 Vacancies

Civil: 59 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.

Candidate must have working knowledge in Computer Applications.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 36 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test of 200 marks followed by the Personality Test of 40 marks. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and Personality test.

The Personality test will be held at the Commission's office in Kolkata.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 16

Application Fee: Rs. 200/- for UR/ EWS/ OBC category candidates
Rs. 50/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
