Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) is the successor company to the erstwhile M.P. State Electricity Board and a wholly-owned undertaking of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, engaged in the field of power generation in the state.

Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of Plant Assistant for the operation and maintenance of its thermal and hydro power plants, construction of new plants, and other requirements.

Plant Assistant: 90 Vacancies

Mechanical: 53 Vacancies
Electrical: 37 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed High School Examination from a Board of Education recognized by the State Government or Government of India and Regular ITI Trade Certificate (SCVT/ NCVT) in relevant Trade from an Institute recognized by the Government of Madhya Pradesh/ Government of India.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Computer-Based Test total of 100 marks. A merit list will be created on the basis of Computer Based Test.

Training Period: 09 Months

Pay Scale: Pay Level 06

Application Fee: Rs.1200/, for general category candidates
Rs.600/- for ST/ SC/ OBC/ EWS/ PWD category candidates.
