The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil) in Public Works (R&B) Department/ Jal Shakti Department J&K.

Junior Engineer: 508 Vacancies

Public Works (R&B) Department: 150 Vacancies
Jal Shakti Department: 358 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must completed 03 Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from Government recognized Institute/ Indian University Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE Section (A&B) India.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Scheme of Examination: The Examination will consist of Objective Type and multiple choice Questions. The questions will be set in English Language only.

There will be a Negative Marking for each wrong answer to the extent of one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question.

Pay Scale: Pay Band Level - 6 Rs.35,400 - 1,12,400

Application fee: Rs.500/- for SC/ ST/ EWS/ PwBD category candidates
Rs.600/- for all other candidates
