Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a M.Sc. degree with at least IInd Division in the relevant discipline from a University established by law in India, or M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in the relevant discipline from a University established by law in India.
And
(b) Certificate/ Diploma or Degree from a University established by law in India or an institution recognized by the Government, or 'O' level or higher level Certificate Course by NIELIT (erstwhile DOEACC Society), New Delhi,
And
(c) Two years' working experience in the field of Forensic DNA in a F.S.L. of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public undertaking or corporation.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years as on 12-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process:

For Young Professionals- Graduates: The selection of candidates will be done through a 2-stage process:

Stage 1: Shortlisting stage:
This will be done through a quantifiable point based methodology derived via a component weightage system.
Stage 2: Assessment stage:
The shortlisted candidates would be invited to appear in the selection process. The selection process will comprise of following 2 components:
i) Group Discussion (GD)
ii) Personal Interview (PI)

For Young Professional – Technicians & Operators: The selection of candidates will be done through a Skill test.

Stage 1: Shortlisting stage:
This will be done through a quantifiable point based methodology derived via a component weightage system.
Stage 2: Assessment stage:
The shortlisted candidates would be invited to appear for skill test.

Engagement Period: 01 year extendable on a year-to-year basis, but not exceeding an additional 2 years on the basis of performance.

Pay Scale: Rs.60,000 for Young Professional -Graduate posts
Rs.35,000 for Young Professional -Technician posts
Rs.30,000 for Young Professional -Operator posts
