Job Description :

Indian Army, invites application from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for Recruitment Trials of Outstanding sportsperson who have participated at International/ Junior or Senior National Championship/ Khelo India Games/ Youth Games/ Khelo India University Games from 01 Oct 2023 or after to join the Indian Army as Direct Entry Havildar and Naib Subedar in the following sports disciplines and sports Championship.

Eligibility Criteria:

Direct Entry Havildar Posts: Candidates must have passed the matriculation.

Sports Achievements: Candidates should be a Medalist at Junior/ Senior level by representing State in National championship or should have represented Country at International level.
AND
Candidates should have represented a State or Country in National or International competitions at Junior/ Senior level (Team event).
AND
Candidates should be a Medalist in Khelo India Games & Khelo India Youth Games & Khelo India university games.

Direct Entry Naib Subedar Posts: Candidates must have passed the matriculation.

Sports Achievements: Candidates should be winner of any medal in World Championship/ Asian Championships.
AND
Candidates should be winner of any medal in Asian Games.
AND
Candidates should be winner of any medal in CWG/World Cup.
AND
Candidates India twice in Asian Games/ Commonwealth Games/World Cup.
AND
Candidates must have represented India in Olympics.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 17.5 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 15-12-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of qualifying physical fitness test, physical Standards test and skill test.

Qualified candidates will have to appear for Sports Trial followed by medical examination.
