Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi is an autonomous institute setup by the MoE, Government of India, and Government of Jharkhand along with the industry partners Tata Technologies Limited, TCS and CCL on a Public Private Partnership mode.

Indian Institute of Technology Ranchi invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Non-Teaching on Direct recruitment basis.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, age limit experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 55 years for Deputy Registrar, 45 years for Assistant Registrar, 32 years for Junior Superintendent, and 27 years for Junior Assistant, Junior Technician posts as on 28-02-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview for Deputy Registrar, and Assistant Registrar posts, and Written and Skills Test for all other posts.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 12 for Deputy Registrar Posts
Pay Level 10 for Assistant Registrar Posts
Pay Level 06 for Junior Superintendent Posts
Pay Level 03 for Junior Technician, and Junior Assistant Posts

Application Fee: Rs.500 for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates
SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex- Servicemen/ Transgender category candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
